About Dancetracks NYC

DanceTracks NYC – is a not-for-profit charitable  501©(3) organization founded in 1998 by Pamela Pardi. Dancetracks NYC promotes the work of individual artists by producing dance performances in theaters, studio showings and facilitating ballet workshops by leading dance instructors among other activities. DanceTracks NYC was contracted to coordinate studio performances at Ballet Arts, a prominent dance school based in City Center Studios from 2001 to 2004. The studio performances were designed to give choreographers and student dancers an opportunity to explore and develop new ways of moving and give audiences an opportunity to see dance in a spacious historical studio in City Center.  Since then we have produced productions at The Kaye Playhouse, The Clark Studio Theater and Steps on Broadway in Manhattan. We continue to showcase artists in venues worthy of their effort and talent.

Most recently, Dancetracks NYC produced a two day performance, "Let's Dance" Choreographers showcase held at The Clark Studio Theater held on January 29-30, 2009. We look forward to the upcoming performance under the artistic direction of esteemed artist John Prinz titled “John Prinz and Friends” to be held on April 5, 2009 at The Ailey Citigroup Theater at The Joan Weill Center for Dance.

Mission Statement

DanceTracks NYC provides opportunities for ballet dancers to create and perform work and provides the public with a greater appreciation of contemporary ballet expressed through the individual artistic voice.  DanceTracks NYC accomplishes this by promoting the work of individual artists, producing public performances and conducting dance outreach activities in neighborhoods and communities.
